I am Hélène, the lover of local wines, the Sensitive and the Epicurean. After a career rich in the world of perfumes, I sensed that the final day had come. But the artist in me had not said her last word. I have always had a real love affair with wine and I wanted to spend more time up close with them. And so I said to myself: “Voila, off we go!"
Excited at the prospect, I headed back to school, choosing the "Franck Thomas" Institute in Antibes, to earn my sommelier diploma, important certifications in tasting styles, and in the wines of Provence. After an intense year, I decided to set off with a winning heart, on a wine tourism project, letting my senses take the lead.
my roots and my inspirations
It was in the middle of the countryside that I grew up. Treehouses and scratched knees punctuated my childhood. …. It is the authentic products and the protection of the terroir that have always made my heart beat faster. It is therefore quite natural that I went to wine estates that use a healthy cultivation method (organic, biodynamic) for their soils and their vines and a method of vinification that is as natural as possible for the birth of their wines (organic wines, biodynamic wines, natural wines).
What occurs in the vineyards faithfully materializes in the wine…As I heightened my knowledge and further delved into my passion for wine, I realized that the world of fragrances and perfumes which I thought belonged to the past, was still very much present and relevant, or «on the nose», so to speak. The wines continued to provide me with that magical olfactory experience and spark emotions, sensations that I treasured when I worked with perfumes.
